Vikings Series

About 5 years ago I've been interested in the history of vikings and what led me to this interest was a Melodic Death Metal Band from Sweden Called Amon Amarth. Amon Amarth is a band that has really unique brutal vocals. Their lyrical themes are mostly about vikings' history. At the beginning I thought it was pretty weird to have a metal band singing about Vikings. Later on, I started to realize that this band gained a lot of fans and I decided to give them a try and I never regretted it. If you aren't a METAL FAN I wouldn't recommend this at all.

For a long period of time I've wondered why isn't there a movie or a series about vikings and I always thought that it would great if anything like that existed. My wait has paid off and finally History Channel introduced Vikings Series on TV. Shortly this show became so popular and didn't take further than 4 episode until people started to notice it. It's so far one of the most successful shows that I've ever watched. The series shows how vikings believed that there are more lands to the west and when they sailed to the west in the very first 4 or 5 episodes.
