In this blogpost I want to talk about the place where I grew up. I'm an Arabian guy but my origins actually came from both India. Generations ago they Immigrated to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. And thats what made me an Arabian. I lived in Jeddah City my entire life before I came to the United States. Now Jeddah City is on the west side of the country by the Red Sea. I lived by the beach and that made me get into diving, fishing, and volley ball. You might wonder what is this place really like. Well I'd be glad to show you some pictures of the city!

The Movenpick is one of the attractions in the city:

The movenpick consists of a sea food restaurant which is that huge shell on the right side. It also has houses for rent. The whole Movenpick is almost like an Island in the middle of the Red Sea.

In Jeddah city there are a lot of malls where people can shop and hangout. To be honest I'm not quite sure how many malls are there in the city but I'd say approximately 25-30 other than the small Outlets all over the city. The reason why the number of malls is too high is because people really like to shop in that part of the world and because Jeddah city is the second biggest city in the whole country.

The Red Sea Mall Is currently one of the best malls in the city it consists of 3 floors with stairs; lower, middle and upper stairs. And this is what it really is...

  2. This sounds like an incredible place to live. It must have been hard to leave there to come to a boring place like Michigan. Have you gotten used to the cold weather yet? Since you like fishing, have you tried fishing in the many lakes and rivers in Michigan? In Lake Huron there is really cool diving to see ship wrecks. You might want to try that some day, if you haven't already.

  4. Hey Jeff,
To be honest, when I first arrived in Mihigan it seemed like a really different place compared to where I came from. Michigan appeared to be too cold, small, and quiet. I have been to the lakes here before but I didn't have a chance to go fishing. Hopefully I get a chance to check the lake out more closely.
