In every Summer Vacation the only things most people are usually worried about are; Where should we spend this summer? With who are we going to spend this time?. Well It has been exactly the same for me but this year as senior in high school I'm not going to have this opportunity and focus on going to college and in my brain there are a lot of things going on. The first thing is that I'm not exactly sure what is it that I should do in college? am I into Engineering, or am I interested in being a doctor? Currently I'm really into music and so all I wanna do in this summer is jam with my band, write more songs, play a small show for friends and fellows. Also I had to mention that I'm moving out of the U.S. and going back to my country for college. So everything I'm about to do with my band is also In my country. I haven't seen most of these friends about one year and some of them about 2 years and a half. I'm honestly expecting myself to be in such a good move when I move back because that sounds like a lot of fun to me. Here is the issue I'm too late to take my required tests in that country because the ACT isn't exactly what is required there but it's a lot like what I'm supposed to take. In other words, I really feel like I just want to have fun like in any other Summer Vacation and the college stuff is kind of getting in the way.

Vikings Series
About 5 years ago I've been interested in the history of vikings and what led me to this interest was a Melodic Death Metal Band from Sweden Called Amon Amarth. Amon Amarth is a band that has really unique brutal vocals. Their lyrical themes are mostly about vikings' history. At the beginning I thought it was pretty weird to have a metal band singing about Vikings. Later on, I started to realize that this band gained a lot of fans and I decided to give them a try and I never regretted it. If you aren't a METAL FAN I wouldn't recommend this at all.

Amon Amarth!!
For a long period of time I've wondered why isn't there a movie or a series about vikings and I always thought that it would great if anything like that existed. My wait has paid off and finally History Channel introduced Vikings Series on TV. Shortly this show became so popular and didn't take further than 4 episode until people started to notice it. It's so far one of the most successful shows that I've ever watched. The series shows how vikings believed that there are more lands to the west and when they sailed to the west in the very first 4 or 5 episodes. Here is a quick shot of what this wonderful show is really like. Enjoy..!

In this blogpost I want to talk about the place where I grew up. I'm an Arabian guy but my origins actually came from both India. Generations ago they Immigrated to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. And thats what made me an Arabian. I lived in Jeddah City my entire life before I came to the United States. Now Jeddah City is on the west side of the country by the Red Sea. I lived by the beach and that made me get into diving, fishing, and volley ball. You might wonder what is this place really like. Well I'd be glad to show you some pictures of the city!

The Movenpick is one of the attractions in the city:
The movenpick consists of a sea food restaurant which is that huge shell on the right side. It also has houses for rent. The whole Movenpick is almost like an Island in the middle of the Red Sea.

In Jeddah city there are a lot of malls where people can shop and hangout. To be honest I'm not quite sure how many malls are there in the city but I'd say approximately 25-30 other than the small Outlets all over the city. The reason why the number of malls is too high is because people really like to shop in that part of the world and because Jeddah city is the second biggest city in the whole country.
The Red Sea Mall Is currently one of the best malls in the city it consists of 3 floors with stairs; lower, middle and upper stairs. And this is what it really is...

Metal
Metal
In this blog post I'd like to share a little bit of the genre of music that I like. Metal for sure!
The reason why I'd choose to talk about this music is because I chose this genre of music since I was about nine years old and never thought of changing to a different genre. Stick with and stay METAL!
When I say metal I'm basically talking about a very general definition of the entire culture. Metal divides into more than one sub genre which never makes me bored of it. When people hear metal they always think of Heavy Metal and that's because this the first genre of metal that started in the 80's. The truth is that there are actually uncountable sub genres of metal and some of them are; Power Metal, Thrash Metal, Symphonic Metal, Black Metal, Death Metal, Progressive Metal. Maybe not a lot of us heard of that and thats because this type of music focuses on being non-mainstream for the sake of metal heads. Metal heads don't want their music to be shared with the media and most of them listen to only metal.
Here are some bands that I really like;

The most common thing all metal heads do no matter what genre they like better is obviously head banging. They head bang because this pretty much the mood of this music because the instruments played and lyrics sang isn't something you would wanna dance for. The basic instruments metal music uses are; electric guitar, bass guitar, drums. It also depends on the genre and the band to have a different or additional instruments. some bands use the electric keyboard, violin, grand piano, etc.
